• Canada goose - c300, with at least 210 of these at Ogden
• mallard- c40 at Calf Hey & c20 at Ogden
• moorhen - 2 at Holden Wood
• great black-backed gull - 1 over Holden Wood
• buzzard - c5
• hobby 1 flew through
• kestrel - c4
• sparrowhawk - 1
• lapwing - at least 5 at Ogden. Could've been more hidden amongst the stones
• stock dove - just a single bird
• stonechat - 2 families on the hillside above Ogden
• whitethroat - 1 at Holden Wood
• blackcap - min 3 at Holden Wood
• willow warbler c10 at Holden Wood & 3 at Heap Clough
• chiffchaff - 1 at Holden Wood
• long-tailed tit - c15 at Holden Wood
• goldfinch - c80 around the valley
• redpoll - 2 at Holden Wood
• siskin - 2 at Holden Wood & 5 at Clough Head
• linnet - c5 at Holden wood
• bullfinch - flock of 5 at Holden Wood & a calling bird at Calf Hey
• reed bunting - min 3 at Holden wood
