Pheasant, 1 calling, Moorhen, 1 on quarry lake, Snipe, 12 on the tops! (Neil Burke had 23 earlier in the morning!) Golden Plover, a flock of 8 on the tops! (Neil had a flock of 29 earlier!) B.H.Gull, c12, L.B.B.Gull, 2, Wood Pigeon, c20, Dipper, 1 flew length of Holden Wood to inlet, Green Woodpecker, 1 calling most of morning! I walked around Grane this afternoon and missed quite a bit of this, but I can add the following
golden plover 2 flocks on Haslingden Moor 15 & 17 Canada goose 62 on Holden Wood kestrel 1 at Deep Clough & 1 at Calf Hey treecreeper 1 in mixed flock with minimum of 12 long tailed tits, 3 blue tit, 2 great tit, 4 coal tit & 3 goldcrest stonechat 1m at Calf Hey song thrush 1 at Clough Head long tailed tit 12 at Clough Head
