Grey Heron, 1,
Canada Goose, c20 inc 3 juvs,
Mallard, 10 scruffy looking birds in eclipse,
Kestrel, 3 hunting the moors,
Peregrine, a young bird was seen to "have a go" at a Green Woodpecker, pair of Carrion Crows and a Kestrel in quick succession before gliding off along the hillside. A family party of three was seen later testing their wings. 
Grey Partridge, 1 calling from rough grass,
Moorhen, 1 juv,
Golden Plover, 3 pairs,
Lapwing, c20,
Oystercatcher, pair,
Snipe, 1 flushed & 1 "chipping",
B.H.Gull, c20 inc many juvs,
L.B.B.Gull, 1 immature,
Swift, c20,
G.S.Woodpecker, 1 calling,
Green Woodpecker, 1 avoiding capture!,
Skylark, c20, many in song,
Meadow Pipit, c60,
Pied Wagtail, 2,
Dipper, 1,
Song Thrush, 2,
Willow Warbler, 2 in song,
Blackcap, 1 in song,
Tits, all in good numbers,
Bullfinch, 1 calling,
Linnet, 3,
Reed Bunting, c6.
