blue tits [nesting everywhere,3 boxes occupied]
great tit [as above,2 boxes occupied]
l t tit [all paired off and nesting]
coal tit [numbers still low]
chaffinch [numbers up on last year]
bullfinch [commonest finch]
goldfinch [i think numbers down]
greenfinch [only odd pairs]
nuthatch [probably more than 4 pairs]
treecreeper [definately 2 pair maybe more]
dunnock [several pair]
robin [plentyful]
wren [as above,nest in my garden,they love mealworm]
goldcrest [one pair ?]
chiffchaff [dont know how many]
willow warbler [lost count,more than 12]
blackcap [10 + mostly males]
song thrush [2/4 pair]
mistle thrush [here but not sure how many]
g s woodpecer [4/5 pair]
green woodpecker [1 pair]
blackbird [common]
jackdaw [common,nesting in our chimmeys]
crow [common feeding in sheep field]
rook [as above]
jay [at least 4 pair]
magpie [3/4 about,nesting in ramsbottom]
collard dove [1 pair arrived and nesting]
woodpigeon [common,nesting buckden woods,they sit on the feeding table]
feral pigeon [14,nesting]
sparrowhawk [appears regular]
kestrel [1 over]
heron [odd ones on river]
mallard [10/12 pair most on eggs]
goosander [at least one pair breeding]
dipper [two nest sites,one as last year,one new]
kingfisher [flying up and down river,no nest site]
grey wagtails [1 pair nesting,2 previous sites unoccupied]
gulls [overhead most evenings,rarley land]
starling [odd ones in sheep fields,dont breed]
cannada goose [1 pair trying to nest on a small lodge]
pheasant [1 male]
swallow [5 over]
sand martin [3 on river]
tawney owl [two breeding pair]

missing~~house sparrow[none seen] moorhen [was here,disappeared]
                 pied wagtail[here a few weeks ago,not now]
