Hi Kev, Where did you get Redpoll at Helmshore? Did they look like they were moving on or hanging around? I haven't managed to see one yet this year!!!! Just got back from a few days away, so I hope they waited for me. Cheers Ina

The redpoll & the siskin were along the old railway line from Bowl Alley to Camms (across the road from the old Airtours building and Musbury Fabrics). There are garden feeders directly opposite the entrance to the car park at Airtours, where the house back on to the path, where I have seen them. There are also garden feeders across the old railway track from Helmshore Textile Museum Ponds. You have to view these through the trees looking up the hill. These feeders have also attracted brambling, bullfinch and stock dove this year.
