2 common scoters,1 goldeneye, 1 tufty, 2 great crested grebes, 1 cormorant (09.30)

Around Compstons Cross/ Meadow Head (c8.00 - 9.00)

40-50 meadow pipits , 6 pied wagtails, 1 skylark, c5 reed buntings, c10 chaffinches, 3 greenfinches and a few siskins, redpolls.

1 swallow the only hirundine  (no warblers, chats or thrushes)
