Around 170 pied wagtails over the cricket ground north between 6 and 7 pm, including one group of 67 and one of 41. I assume these are flying from the sewage works to roost somewhere in Haslingden. Anybody got any ideas??
Hi Andy, good numbers used to gather at this time of the year in Rawtenstall around the cricket field area as far as the roof tops at the Rhythm Station. Suggest a seat at the Buffer Stops around late evening, pint in hand of course!
