• sparrow hawk - female over The Holme and a male at Horncliffe
• kestrel - 1 hunting near Holmes Terrace Lodge and 1 near Horncliffe
• peregrine - 1 over Edenfield
• lesser black backed gull - constantly overhead between Rawtenstall and EBSW c60 birds the largest flock seen
• black headed gull - 12 at EBSW and 3 at All Saints
• stock dove - 1 displaying over Warth
• kingfisher - 1 at Holmes Terrace Lodge
• goldcrest - singing bird at EBSW
• sand martin - 16 at Townsendfold with 8 holes in the bank.
• swallow - 2 at Hareholme, 2 at Ewood Bridge and 4 at EBSW
• house martin - 8 at EBSW
• chiffchaff - 1 at Trickett's Memorial Ground, 1 at Cribden House School, 1 at The Holme and 1at EBSW
• willow warbler - 1 at Warth and 1 at EBSW
• blackcap - 1pr and another male at Cribden House School and 3 singing males at EBSW
• grasshopper warbler - 1 reeling in rushy field near Holmes Terrace Lodge
• nuthatch - 1 at Trickett's Memorial Ground
• treecreeper -  1 at Trickett's Memorial Ground
• song thrush - 1 with a beak full of worms at Trickett's Memorial Ground and 3 singing birds at EBSW
• grey wagtail - 1 at Townsendfold and 1 at Ewood Bridge
• pied wagtail - 2 at K Steels and 1 at EBSW
• bullfinch - calling bird at EBSW
