Unusual Bird of Prey ( Marl Pitts)

I have been a falconer for many years. Mainly hawks. However today whilst playing football at Marl Pitts I saw a very large Falcon. I am almost 100% sure it was bigger than a Female Peregrine. Does anybody know if a falconer has lost a falcon around Rossendale?? Gyr??? Saker??? Hybrid???

My neighbour has lost his gyr-saker. She is thought to be favouring the Norden area of Rochdale. If there are any other sightings, please post & I will pass them on.
Thanks.

The bird was white in color, thats why I thought it not to be a Peregrine. It headed ito the trees on meadow head. It may be roosting there. It looked healthy. Any more sightings and I will post.

Regards
