I have just walked from irwell vale to strongstry[around 2000 hrs]and could not count the swifts,the sky was thick with them flying low over the fields and river.I would certainly estimate them in the hundreds.
Yes this ties in with other parts. This statement was made about the Swifts on vismig yesterday about the large numbers of Swifts....
