Few things of any real note. Single Dippers were at Stoneholme (singing) and Goodshawfold. c12 Wood Pigeon at Goodshawfold with a further c20 in fields at Loveclough. A calling Chiffchaff was at Loveclough and another silent bird was at Goodshawfold feeding with 2 Goldcrests and a Blue Tit. Talking of Goldcrests, there appears to have been a small influx into the Limy valley over recent days with ones and twos in leylandii and birds were heard/ seen at three sites today.
Good to hear from you again, Bob. Are your computer problems sorted?
Re your Goldcrests - there was a small flock of tits in our garden yesterday morning and I'm pretty sure there were a couple of Goldcrests with them, though I hadn't my bins handy and they were in the very tops of the Sycamores. There was also a Nuthatch calling from a tree about 3 houses away so we're crossing fingers for a new garden tick soon.
