usual magpies, robins, woodpigeons, wrens just before the quarry.  after the quarry on the farmland where you get views across the valley 2 kestrels, 2 locks of goldfinches with about 20 min in, over 40 meadow pipits, some carrion crows, a raven,  4 stone chat
at about 4.30 a large flock of geese were going southbound they probably crossed the cribden area - most likely pink feet i guess. 

if i wanted to go for a walk up haslingden moor what is the best way to access it?
