Hi Craig,
Not seen a Stonechat at Clowbridge for perhaps 6-8 weeks now when I had 2 in the field in front of Nutshaw.
The last one I can remember anywhere was on the hillside past New Laithe and that was probably 4 or 5 weeks ago.
Certainly thin on the ground compared to recent years.
Great photos of the Gropper!
Regards,
David.

Cheers Dave,
I cant seem to find any anywhere up in normal areas of the Limey valley. Hard winter looks to have had a bad effect up this way, but still seem to be a few up Grane and Holcomb areas.
Interesting Andy has 1 hign up near Compstons..

Hi Craig
Away from the Limy valley, Cowpe Res & Spring Mill Res are usually reliable for stonechat, but I haven't seen any this year
11-30 - 2.30.
Female Ring Ouzel around small pump house, SE corner of res.
2 reeling Grasshopper Warbler (1 each end of res),
2 LRP,
3 Sand Martin,
6+ W Warbs,
2 Buzzard,
4 Mallard.
No Stonechat seen this spring up there but I may be missing them?? Bob / Dave you seen any??
