Arrived home at dusk to hear an owl calling, with the aid of a large torch found a [male ?] Tawny flying up and down the cycle track to Irwell vale with an offering [vole] in its beak presumably looking for a non-existing female. The temp at the time was plus 6c. Happy new year to all.
